Smallest 4wd/awd dodge

i like dodge because i find them easy to to diy
want to get a car for my kid but the kid struggles with large vehicles like pickups and suvs (parking, close quarters etc)
also i’d like to have a 4wd/awd for bad weather.
what is the smallest dodge out there w 4wd/awd?

Dodge vehicles such as the journey would fill the bill, but they are questionable quality. I own a 2015 AWD SXT journey and it seems to be made of mostly plastic. Ok, gets around good, but longevity is suspect. Most tire places have a fit if you need a tire replaced because of their policies toward awd vehicles.......ask me how I know. Good luck finding a suitable car.

A used AWD Avenger V6 would do fine IMO.
My wife drove an 2008 SXT Avenger for 7 years and her only complaint was it would have been nice to have the AWD version...

Smallest "Dodge" or smallest FCA? Something like a Jeep Compass/Cherokee are small, the Jeep Renegade looks even smaller.

The charger set comes in awd. Keep wrangler 2 door models are something your son would like.

While glancing through CRAIGSLIST, I saw a D50 diesel that was restored. Steep price at something like $22,000 (?), but I guess hens teeth are expensive!

my buddy had one of those, but a gas version. It was built by Mitsubishi and fun vehicle, but was a pos. He bought it new, had hub problems, cam problems, you name it. Like I said, lots of fun, but not really reliable.

i would find a early to mid 2000 matrix or vibe. they have fwd and awd versions.
