A 6.4 Longhorn mega cab dually? Who is ordering their trucks? No wonder that thing is left over. Not that it’s a bad truck by any means, but that’s such a horribly risky configuration, there’s no doubt why it’s still there.

sorry, not trying to rain on your parade, I’m a former sales and inventory manager for a Ram dealership, so I’m looking at that truck professionally, that’s all. That configuration would terrify me if I saw it pull up on a trailer.

I hear you on that. A crew cab short bed 2500 is what I was hoping to see a lot more of there. But from what I was getting from them, the 2021's haven't started being built yet.

Any of the Ram/Chrysler dealers around here, their highest trim level is a Laramie. I haven't seen the Longhorn or Limited on anyone's lot, except here and it was the only one. Like you said, the risk of having it there is huge. I know how long it's been sitting there and really wasn't interested in it at all, but where they had it for price, made it easy to say yes.

Would never knock a Laramie...LOL. I haven't seen anything higher than that trim up this way.

Ain't nothin' wrong with "just looking" and ending up bringing that joker home! I don't have a use for a dually, but I sure do like 'em. Hope you got a really good deal for "just looking" - congratulations.

Nice looking truck! I would agree...that is an odd build, Mega cab, 6.4 and a dually...

Love the payload rating...you could almost haul another Ram HD on the back of that bad boy!

I was thinking the same thing... none of my customers would ever buy a 6.4 gas dually for 70-80k

That’s a sweet truck. Any plans for it?

Gas is more practical for most people, but diesels sell better in this segment for sure.

That is some ridiculous payload, wow.

Was at the dealership today looking for a steal but all they had were Cummins in HD......I want the 6.4.

I got some plans. Nothing crazy...a larger camper is in the future...also a decent sized dump trailer too.

Sweet truck! Right place, right time. I'd rather be lucky than good every time.
Very lucky man you are!

I bought Big White kinda the same way. Last day of the month, I wanted a Tradesman 2500 6.4 4x4 Reg cab with an 8' bed and 4.10 gears, tow pkg, snow chief pkg.

Only truck they could find was 250 miles away, had all that, chrome 18" wheels, chrome bumpers but it was a Crew cab. They offered it for the same price as a regular cab! (They were tired of looking)
I said go get it, give me a set of M/T tires and rubber HD floor mats. They did.

Right place right time!

Mine's longer but yours is bigger around, lol.d9f6f7e4a152ba20051b1f27a8c58fca.jpg52a0285ef21d925022a1c41a3912f7c0.jpg

Wife's van will not clear the garage door by 3 inches. My truck is 2 feet, or more, longer. What vehicles are they using for these "two car" garages?

Well hello, My fancypants. I would take a year-old model for that monster! Nice truck.

Nice truck. Looks like upgraded interior too. Myself I prefer single wheel 3500. But dually works if you have a load to pull. I think max is 35,100 lbs if diesel not sure for gasser. No slouch at pulling for sure
