So what is that part that some buyers need but cannot get since the bought an OEM LED without, I am sure there is another wire that cannot be bought seperately?

EDIT, one would still require the sub harness before buying that part you linked?

To my knowledge, all that is required to run a set of LED OEM tails on a truck that didn't originally have them, is the connector from retroshop. Nothing more.

That is incorrect you still need the harness that the led headlight come with plus the retroshop harness to make these work.

That's why is important to ask if the original harness come with the tails because usually sellers tend to keep the harness to use them on their new tails.

So basically if the back of the OEM led is naked with no wires then one is SOL.

I remember in my hayday on here I wanted sport OEM LED tails, but I am sure it was not the retroshop harness 130$ that was putting me off so much but something else. Memory is terrible these days LOL

There's a company that's making the sub-harness now. They're not cheap @$30 each, but at least they're available now.
