Theres a few people running them. It increases line pressure like the old transistor mod did. Theres no real right or wrong anwser for this but its not a bad mod for round $40.

Just do a pcm reset on it before you take it for spin or it will do some funky things. I like mine and would definitely reccomend it now that its working right

Pretty sure you disconnect the negative side of the battery, and turn the key to start for 30 seconds or so, and that should draw all of the power out of the components and reset it. Then just reconnect and go.

2004 you can pull fuse #23 and flip the key on-off-on-off-on and wait for two chimes back to back. The key off and replace fuse

Pulling the battery cable works too but I like to keep my radio info

Just pull the battery cables before you install it and by the time you are done reconnect them and have fun. Also look into some of that corrigated wire protector to keep it clear of damage (water/rocks/melting on the trans).
