Sound System Ideas?

I have a 2020 Ram Bighorn with the basic sound system. Before this truck, i had a 2015 Bighorn with the Alpine/subwoofer system. I cannot stand the audio in my new truck, definitely a downgrade. Anyways, I am wondering if its possible to order and install the Alpine/Sub system into my new truck to replace the POS basic sound system. Im not an electronic guy at all lol. But it sounds like a lot of work. I just miss my Alpine system too much.
Or do you guys have any other ideas that i could do?

Your truck isn’t wired for the extra speakers the alpine has. Probably best to buy better speakers than alpine since you’re spending the money the anyway. Get a sub and amp and install it. Probably be cheaper in the long run anyway. Some places are offering great install deals if you can’t do it on your own.

What I did on mine, relatively inexpensive.
I used new Mopar Kicker 6x9 midbass, you can use any 6x9 components as well, and sued a Kicker KEY 180.4 amp, automatically add 45x4 and auto DSP, time alignment, etc. Same as the Alpine, but doesn't need all the dash speakers to get optimal sound stage.
Then added a Kicker 10" powered sub, its not available for the 2020, but you could do a Kicker HS10, powered 10"

I'm on the verge of putting an aftermarket in my truck, i already have sub and amp from my 4th gen. Just trying to buy some time to see if others do it, or newer dash kit works, or newer Idatalink ports are available.
