When it comes to getting a rock through a tire I always figured it was going to be out on some rough Colorado mountain dirt road near my home, not on the fine pavement of downtown Butte, Montana. Last Monday after travelling while towing all day on only pavement from Sheridan, Wyoming, a flat tire wasn't expected. Just a piece of small road gravel which got caught between the tread. Lost some 2 PSI about every 20 seconds per the warning and made it in time to the tire shop with my 5/32" tread depth original Duratrac tires. It was kindly fixed for free at Les Schwab. Next set of larger tires will definitely include the same size spare.
