All,

I have the molded splash guards on my 1500 and intend to put the same on my (yet to be built) PW. Trying to find the correct ones, I asked Mopar which model I'd need. This is their answer:

After doing some research, there doesn’t seem to be anything available for splash guards for your Ram 2500 Power Wagon at this time. the parts 82215923AB and 82215926AB will not work for your Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
However, when I seach for parts fitting a 2022 PW on mopar.com, these come up in their store, telling me they fit. The store doesn't recognize my VIN yet.

So does anyone have these on a 2020+ Power Wagon? Any alternatives that are not the floppy type splash guard?

Thanks!

I’ve never seen molded splash guards on a Ram 2500 or 3500.

When I had my 2012 Power Wagon I went to my local Dodge dealer and bought the flaps that it called for. I don't think the body styles have changed that much over the years.

I think the main sticking point would be the fender flares. I'd imagine if you can find mud flaps that will fit a stock 2500 or 3500 with fender flares you should be good to go.

Check sites like www.americantrucks.com and www.realtruck.com

I thought so, too, the numbers I quoted are for 2500s with fender flares. That's why I'm so confused about Mopar telling me that they won't fit.

I may have to wait until I get the truck, drive it to a dealer and have them order them.

molded splash guards look like they belong on Honda CRV's not Power Wagons. Mopar HD belong on Power Wagons.

I thought I read somewhere that the PW fender flares are different than stock 2500/3500. Now you've got me searching. I've looked around the neighborhood and only find 3500 dualies. The search continues!

I have factory flares on my 2021 Laramie 2500. Weathertec worked fine on it BUT if you off road it much they would not be my choice. They are really not very flexible. If you back over or run over anything would take little to rip them off. I would suggest the Mopar HD ones to so they bend out of the way. I do not know if the PW flares are the dame as the ones on mine.

I should add the mud flaps I bought at the dealer were not molded. They were rubber and flexible. Probably the flaps @retired mentioned.

For rockcrawling I can see that those make sense. My primary goal is to prevent dirt and pebbles from being thrown at the front doors.

Per the pictures I posted, Putting the adapted flap on the front of the rear wheel well cuts way down on rocks and mud being flung forward. There is a thread I did on how to easily do that with a spare set of rear Weathertec flaps.

I looked at a bunch of Power Wagons on the PW picture thread. The flares do NOT look to be the same as on my 2500 Laramie.

Asked Huskyliners, they said that they currently don't have flaps that fit the PW (meaning normal 2500 flaps won't fit) but that they are working on some that do.

IIRC, the newer PW flares are wider than the regular 2500/3500 flares. Meaning any molded flaps would have to be PW specific...and since the truck was intended for off-roading I would doubt that Mopar would have any. Aftermarket may not yet for the 2020+ trucks.

Yeah, maybe rather little interest and thus small anticipated sales. I mean, the current model has been out for almost three years now, hasn't it?

I think Rok BlokZ makes some mud flaps that fit the power wagon. I have been debating on getting a set.

Do you have a link?
I looked at their page, and for the 2020+ 2500's they say: "Our mud flaps fit the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. "

For my ‘21 I purchased these from myMoparparts.com 82215928AB Splash Guards, Front, With Flares 82215929AB Splash Guards, Rear, With Flares. I also picked up a rust inhibitor (recommended) and a plastic rivet tool (required) from Amazon.
I like them, they keep the gravel from tearing up the side of my truck and when I’m driving I couldn’t tell you a thing about them.
