Sport Grill Inserts?

Wondering if the Sport grill inserts with 3 Horizontal bars will fit in the Express grill shell or do I need the entire shell and inserts?

for you both, they are a direct swap. You can pull the inserts, ship them to each other and install. Did it myself.

Boosted gave me crap about swapping the inserts because I was putting a lower trim level on my sport. A the time he said that, he plasti-dipped his chrome inserts. a few months later, he did the exact thing he gave me crap about.

The black honey comb just "fits" better on the monochromatic sports, IMO. I seem to recall the horizontal bar grills were popular aftermarket mods back early 2000's.

Agreed. My wife rolled her eyes when the black inserts showed up but said it looked much better when I was done. She (and I) liked how the combination of the grill, hood decal and other black accents like the wheels, side steps, and Morimoto fogs just brought everything together.

I do like that color combo. Very nice. So back to the ops question-- you can do the swap pretty easily.

Thats probably because your bumper and grill surround are body color.
Im just the oposite, chrome surround and bumper so the honeycomb lessens the front bling on my truck

Yeah if I had the chrome grill and bumper I would go for the mesh grill as well.
IMO its all about finding the right balance.
