Spray on tint

So I was looking into the rattle can spray-on tint for lights. I wanna do this on my tail lights. My question is, if I were to use this on my fog lights....would it drastically decrease the light output? Thanks guys.

haha no problem... ive come to my sense unless you have led tails your tails shouldnt be tinted

I tried the spray on tint on some cab marker lights once, even clearcoated them after tinting. Stuff didnt work all that well and within a year you couldnt tell I had ever done it, faded right out in the sun.
