Squeaky struts

I put new struts on my truck a couple thousand miles ago and they have squeaked ever since. If i hose the whole thing down with wd40 it quits for a little bit but always comes back. Is there a certain point that is usually the culprit that i can put some thicker grease on?

Didn’t leave enough gap between the end of the coil and the step on the rubber.
