Steering growl

Hey guys, I have a steering growl/fast ticking noise coming from under the hood. It's only when I get to the outer limit of my steering. It happens on both sides going forward and backward but doesn't do it when the truck is parked. Is this an issue to worry about or is it just my pump growling? Thanks!

Check your power steering fluid level to start. Normally whines when getting low
