So I have a 2017 Ram tradesman which has had a 6inch lift (Rough country) i have upgraded the drag links, replaced the gearbox(steering box) and have even upgraded the steering stabilizer also by Rough County. Im running 37" tires on 18x10 rims. But regardless of all these things. Im still experiencing more of a loose steering wheel at highway speeds. I know some have replaced their steering box with a red box but I dont wanna just keep throwing money and no fix. I have also replaced the ball joints(factory). Any ideas guys?

Here is a shot in the dark.

Some guys have found that their issue is with the steering column.

They get these two small collar like things that go around the nuts holding the column together.

If you are interested you could search here or make another post.

They are sold on Amazon.

I don't remember much more.

First problem is rough country. When it comes to suspension, quit throwing cheap crap at it and expecting quality results. Especially when you are running 37s.

One thing you could try is getting underneath with a pair of vice grips and clamping the bottom of the steering shaft to make sure it doesn't move, and have someone in the driver seat wiggle the wheel and see if it still moves. If so, that's your steering shaft.

Hey sorry, I was half asleep when I wrote this. Its all Ready lift suspension. Would there be any improvement with replacement of the steering shaft bushings?

The steering shaft bushings definitely help, even on stock suspension. Cheap to buy, CJC offroad sells them for $20 I think, and they're easy to install. The problem that a lot of people try to chase is the natural amount of play that comes with having a steering box. There are a few videos on the internet that explain this if you lookup how a steering box works vs rack and pinion. But the amount of play is magnified with any sort of lift (no matter the quality) and oversized tires. I've seen some people say that manual hub lockers can help, but I haven't tried this myself.
