Been noticing a bit of loose steering recently, what I mean is that you can turn the wheel, but it won't really do much until you move it a fair amount. You can also turn the wheel left and right a fair bit at a dead stop before it catches.

Anything in specific anyone can recommend checking before I bring it into the shop/dealer? The truck has a 6" Zone kit and has had it on for about 3500 - 4000 kilometers. The shop who installed it had some trouble getting the struts back in, not sure if it could be related and adding some extra stress somewhere.

Unfortunately I didn't get a copy of the alignment sheet from after the kit was installed either.

EDIT: Absolutely no noises which are noticeable (which I hope is a good thing), it's still extremely smooth to steer otherwise, just doesn't feel very responsive.

You could have bad ball joints on the tie rod ends or just a bushing on the steering knuckle I think is what its called. To check the tie rod ends jack up the front of the truck and try to rock the tire back and forth if there is play then that would be your problem, if I am wrong in am sure someone will chime in.
