My friend from Vermont is in Texas with his 2008 RAM 2500 diesel. He went dow a rough road and now his steering wherl is off about. 90 degrees. Truck is running straight and stopping and hands off no issues. Are these steering wherls splined or just a taper friction fit. Could it have just slipped? Thank you
