Steering wheel swap

I'm going to do leather steering wheel swap later this week. My trucks had vr button but no shift or volume. I know the volume is plug and play. What about shift +\- Will those work also ?

Gears switch will not work swap your old cruise switch with it

Ok , thank you sir. So if I swap that switch then leave vr on left side and volume controls on back everything will work ?
