I bought a new aftermarket stereo for my truck. I got the stereo in a couple days so i cut the wires n tried to connect it to the new harness of the new stereo to realize ididn't have to cut it i needed a interface adapter so i order that online and wanted to connect my old stereo back while i wait for the adapter so i butt connected the wires back together on the harness and now the stereo doesn't turn on blank screen.

Did you check the fuse in the PDC next to the battery?

What about the other in-line fuse right before firewall, near the brake booster?
