stock 18" wheel width

I have a 2015 RAM 2500 CC LB with stock 18" rims. Can anyone confirm the width of these rims? I am thinking of buying a set of Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires that are 305 70R 18. Several people on the forum have stated that they are running these tires in the same size, but I just saw that the minimum rim width is 8.5" and I thought the stock rims are only 8" wide. If so, I'm guessing I shouldn't run these tires (I don't even know if the shop will mount them).

I am hoping to get a 35" diameter tire. I saw that there is a 295 70R 18 that is slightly smaller (34") that will work with an 8" rim. Slightly narrower as well. I may need to consider these, but trying to maximize size.

The lower tradesman clad 18” are 8”. Can’t speak for higher trim level wheels.

22hemi13 is correct. My '17 Tradesman CC LB 2500 has the chrome clad 18" and they are 8".

Here is the pic you were asking me for. They work fine on 8 inch. Get some rub at full lock on the radius arms, but it's not a big deal. I have a 2 inch level on mine as well.
