So, by raising only the front by 2.1", you have effectively levelled your truck, correct?

Any change in performance or mileage and could you post a side view picture?

I've been pondering this upgrade myself, just for the levelling aspect.

.
Pretty much levelled, yes.

Say for a slight rake to ensure that when I haul/tow I'm not pointing to the stars.

I immediately noticed the increase in handling and control when I had the front and rear B8 5100 Bilstein's installed.

It is not a rough ride, to me anyways. I run 40psi (cold adjusted) front and rear and have perfect symmetry and wear on all my tires.

Mileage, no real deficit noticeable in this area.

These pics are all with the front and rear Bilstein's in with the fronts set to 2.1" raised.

The first pic has my truck with the BFG KO2 LT285/65R20's on from last season.
The second and third pics are from today with my Michelin Defender LTX M/S LT295/65R20's on.

Yes, I do miss the more aggressive look of the BFG's, but I truly like the overall look and feel appreciably more with my Michelin's on.

I also gained nearly 2mpg back after switching to the Michelin's vs. the BFG's.

Thanks for the info & pics, it looks great.

Your truck is the colour I wanted but... O well. Maybe, next time.

How much effort is required to tweak the settings on those shocks, like if you wanted to raise the rear just an inch or two if you were planning to carry a heavy load or tow?

You're very welcome.
I love the colour, too. My daughter calls her "Big Blue"..lol, and has claimed it her truck and Dad is her driver :)

To adjust the fronts after the initial setting you'd have to remove the struts, the stock springs, set the desired height, reassemble, and then realign. A lot of work.

The rears are just straight shock replacements (no adjustments on the shocks), and on my truck I retained the stock rear springs. The 5100's are designed to also work with an additional 1" of height as well in the back.

If I wanted to raise my rear I would need to either put spring spacers in (for me personally, I don't prefer this method), or purchase longer springs to achieve some lift there.

With the 35's I have on now I have plenty of height gained and have a smooth ride as I'm usually on the highway.

When I have a 1000lb generator in the bed it squats pretty good, but it's not obscene and/or causes any drivability issues. Similarly, when I tow with the flat deck tandem axle with a good load on it, my truck squats pretty good, too. But, no issues with drivability as I don't push the limits.

For me, I don't haul or tow heavy often so there's no need to add Air Lift bags to bring the back end up. If I need to start hauling/towing more, I'll invest in a pair of rear bags to level out the ride.
