Stock running board mounting location

Does anyone know if the Ram factory running boards mount to the frame? I'm ordering a 2022 and saw they offer 4 options but i have no idea where the mount. I was looking at the nerf style but dont want them mounted to the rocker panels, I'd rather have frame mounted boards.

pretty sure they all mount to the rocker panels.

Yes, they all mount to the under side of rocker panels..but the oem steps are very secure and well thought out to be solid and stable. I would guess frame mounted boards would have to be designed and manufactured by a good welder. Everything is cab mounted now.

Dang that sucks, i think I'll go aftermarket then. I like the n fab style i dont think Ram offers one.

i think the only frame mounts will be Maple and white-knuckle offrord. these are more sliders than steps.

The RBP steps mount to the frame and secure with the rockers ..... check them out those would of been my choice if they didn't already have the Stealth power boards ....
