When i get these mufflers installed should I have them cut off the cats? The hemifever tune won't throw codes for no cats correct and ill still pass emissions? Unless they do a visual inspection of course.

Don't cut off your cats if you have emission requirements where you live, it will not pass.

Heres the new mufflers

a-ha-ha, you did exactly what I've done some weeks ago )) 3" dual piping with LTs but withOUT mufflers - is a real sh*t.

there is a small video shot of my cold start. I had to switch from P to R or D right after start in order to low the rpms and used some fishing boots to let them compensate some sound at the start ))).

SW mufflers - bad way
2*18" Maggys - bad way
no mufflers - baddest way
Now I have 3" dual in / 3" dual out Gibson. It's better, but the sound is too voluminous in a drone zone (1800-1900) on the highway, it is not acceptable. Even the muffler is quite large and it has X inside.
Right now I'm thinking whether to buy new 3" dual in and 2.5" dual out and put my old 2.5 pipes back or add 2 small 3" mufflers right before the ends. And, actually, have no ideas what to choose. The first way seems to bring more positive results. What do ya think?

p.s. how is it going with Borlas?

The Borlas have been good so far...its defiantly quieter but still has a nice sound. The truck runs a little better now too especially in the low end. Now i need to get a torque converter lol
