My transmission started slipping in gears 3-6 and after having the supercharger on my truck only for 10k miles haha. So should I go with Mike in Delaware for a built trans for 4 grand or should I get the shardadon trans for 3 grand.
I'd avoid Sharadon, especially since Jerry left and started his own shop. I'm very biased towards Mike's trans because it's been behind my engine for 3 years now handling 580rwhp everyday with a nitrous shot that takes it to 738rwhp. I do manually downshift to 3rd before flooring it but if I forget or don't do it soon enough it will still hold just fine. I'm going to be putting it to the test after this winter when my new cam and cog driven F1-A goes in. Any trans can be built to handle straight WOT driving but it's the daily driving that kills these transmissions and Mike and Jerry have put together a couple that are holding up to power with their mechanical work and tuning.
