Stub shaft loose? 2019 5.7

I replaced cv axle but not the stud shaft, it is normal for the stub shaft to move in and out of the housing by hand making a small click in and out sound unable to upload the video here just photos I have a new one should I replace it or would it be fine?

It will move in and out a smidge however did you install new locking clips? on both ends? Also if you used a cheap crappy aftermarket cv axle it will have alot of paly.

It may been the crappy aftermarket part then I should know by now
