Subwoofer Removal

Greetings fellow Mopar Fanatics, picked up a 2024 2500 yesterday (will update my profile and pic in the coming days), there is a subwoofer under the rear folding seat, takes up entirely too much storage IMHO, if I remove this hunk of metal, will there be anything negative from the OEM radio system?

I guess it does not have any impact, decided to see by removing, no issues with OEM radio set up.
Going to leave this post up in the event the issue is asked again.

Just came across this post looking for info on the rear sub. Would like to do the opposite. Mine came with the sub behind the rear seat. Actually, looking to upgrade to the under seat option if possible. Heard one during a test drive of a 2026 2500 and fell in love.

Currently have a 2024 with an Alpine system, but felt that sub was much nicer.

Do you have the under seat setup? Did you ever remove it. Thanks in advance.
