Just curious... can anyone speak of the reliability of a supercharger on the eagle? I know the gen 2s had issues with a small top ring land that caused premature failures. Has anyone put some serious miles on it? Thanks in advance.

Well, I've only had my procharger for a few weeks, but I did research this for some time before buying a SC and they seem to be very reliable in general. I haven't heard of any long term issues with this engine and SCs in particular.

At low boost they are fine with any of the blower systems. Higher than 7-8psi and you can bust the upper ring land if it leans out. The 5/6 speed trans was the weak link for blowers but the 8 speed is holding up just fine.
