I have a 2014 RAM 5.7 which I purchased the superchips tuner for my truck, and it ran well until the recent updates by Dodge. As of now, there is no tune available for my vehicle they have rendered my tuner useless.I wonder if the new updates will effect the Diablo PCM I have in my 2016 5.7?
Any suggestions?

Have you tried updating the tuner on Superchips Spark updater since you had the recalls done? If you haven't I would do that and maybe even call Superchips and ask them if/when they're coming out with the necessary updates so you can use their tuner again. If nothing else that might light a fire under their collective asses to get it done a little sooner.

Bummer.

Looks like yet another great reason to not let the dealership "update" your PCM programming.

Did you reset the PCM back to "stock" prior to taking it in to the dealership? If not you will have to send the tuner in to Superchips and have them re-calibrate it.

You always want to return your vehicle to stock before going to the dealer. My regular dealer knows better than to try and flash my truck without me saying it's OK to do.

Yeah I should have mentioned that too about having returned your truck back to stock settings before going to the dealer to begin with. If you didn't you can expect to spend a C note to get it reset but at least you can do it online now and don't have to mail it back to them to have it reset if that was the case.

Thank-You everyone for the support and comments...I tried to de-tune the day before my appointment at Dodge, but the tuner wouldnt connect with my vehicle. When I got it back from Dodge, I spoke with Superchips and working with the ignition program they were able to get the tuner to recognize my vehicle, but they said as of now, there ate no tunes for the new updated 5.7.
A side note...
The reason for the appointment was two broken exhaust studs in the aluminum head. There were 2 recalls they also took care of..THANK GOD FOR WARRANTY! They had the truck 2 weeks, and had to replace the head. I heard this is a common problem?

I had superchips in my 2014. I uninstalled it when the truck went back to the dealer for another recall. While I had it uninstalled I figured I would check for up dates being it had been a while . It never worked again after updating it . I cant remember the name of the Company that owns Superchips but they checked it out through the Ignition program and after me bugging them a few weeks they offered me a new Diablo I3 Platinum. Can't beat that deal. Before they offered me the new one I would check for a Superchips update to fix it . Only update ever offered was for the extended warranty which I went for figuring it was cheaper than buying another complete unit , It worked I guess. They were also in Fla
