Surround View Camera Turn On? Simple software switch?

Ok,

My 2025 Longhorn does not have the surround view camera. I did not get the $5000+ Level upgrade. But I have confirmed that all cameras are on the truck

Anyone ever activated the Surround cameras? It has to be a simple software switch.

Not sure about how to activate them. During my search, I found it weird that Ford makes them standard on XLT and above but RAM makes them much harder to get. Why they aren’t standard on the Bighorn & up beats me or at least on the off road models. I’ve seen several Rebels without the surround cameras.

The even stupiderest thing, is all the damn cameras are there! COME ON MAN!

Same on my 2500 Longhorn. Well, except for the front camera. All the other cameras are there. And the wiring for the front camera is there. Not sure how to go about activating it though if I got a front camera. Probably a bunch of programming only the dealer can do.

I just talked with a salesman with 35 years with Ram said it couldnt get "Parts Globally? Did you come across a solution for this? Thanks, Kimball who Luvs my 3.0 H.O. motor!

So, maybe I can muddy these waters a little....I think there are "Ladar" (Lazor/radar) that are Black covered. My camaras on my mirrors have a lens. In talking to this 35 yr. salesman said he read somewhere it was a lack of parts (global) for 6-8 months? Mine & evidently yours suffered having some hardware installed & some unavailable? Stallantis should make some kind of a kit available? Did we pay as part of a package? Lots of questions. Ive just had my truck for a few months. Ill post as I gain knowledge. Happy Trails.
