Switching out Tailgates

has anyone tried switching out a regular tailgate with a Multipro tailgate on a 2025 Ram 1500 limited

It’s actually called Multi-Function Tailgate, not Multipro. There have been people who have done this. It’s been a few years since I read anything about it but the worst part of it was sourcing the MFT. Ram didn’t sell them so you had to find them from another truck, like from a salvage yard. I don’t know of any threads here but I’ve seen threads on other Ram forums but it’s against forum rules to provide any links to those. If you’re serious about doing this I would suggest you search the interwebs for information on how you might go about doing this swap. Which is why I corrected you on the name of the tailgate. Searching on Multipro might not bring up the correct information.
