thanks, that's what I was hoping for. That's what MOPAR uses for their "full synthetic".

I'd go no more than 6k. Mopar recommends 5k whether it's semi synthetic or full synthetic.

Mopar says 5000 miles ? My owners manual says not to exceed 10000 miles.
I do change mine every 5-6k, which is too often (according to my oil analysis with Blackstone Labs, I could go at least 12k), but I like having super clean oil. Its my money.
What Mopar recommends 5k or 6k? A dealer pushing for more oil change money? On regular, non-synthetic oil, the manual in the newer trucks calls for roughly 10k changes (that is why your computer is programmed for that). When in doubt, go by what the manual tells you. (Not sure what the manual in a 2012 Ram calls for, but in my 2010 Dakota that I used to have, I am pretty sure it was 10k.)
If a dealer is telling you to do it every 5k, or they say you need to use the more strenuous maintenance schedule, they are usually just feeding you a line to sell you more things.
I personally wouldn't go more than 6k. The stealership claims 5k. I was just equating them with MOPAR.

Seem to be getting really good MPG's now, normal when switching to synthetic?
