Tailgate “clicks”

Greetings! 2021 2500 Laramie. I removed my tailgate iot conduct load of an oddly shaped item. Afterwards, I replaced the tailgate with no apparent difficulty. Now, when closing the tailgate, around the final 10% of swing, there is a loud “click” noise. There is no feel of binding or other abnormalities…just the click. Also, I experienced no difficulty in either removing or replacing the tailgate.

Try removing and reinstalling it , watch out for the harness, and pay attention to the mounts.
