The 2016 and up RAM letter tailgate has an extra body line on the bottom than the 2009 and up Ram head tailgate

May least this confirms that the tailgates are different but interchangeable.

Yes the RAM tailgate will bolt right up, or if you decide to remove the rams head and do bodywork the letters will fit on the other style tailgate.

I like the RAM tailgate, but not that much . I’d be willing to do a trade though. Thank you
