I believe the hinges were redesigned on the +19 HD trucks. Also the new ones may also use electronic latches depending on trim level which is something the prior years didn't use.

go to a online parts place like allmoparparts and put both models in and see if it has the "will fit" for both. And/or look at the part numbers. Make sure you get the same trim
