New member here but long time lurker as this site has been great for helping me fix my truck (2010 1500 TRX4).

I have a new problem where a squirrel (or something) chewed through a line. Can't find any confirming information, but found a useful screenshot (from here) that shows the line I need to replace, so hoping someone can help confirm for me (and tell me how much of a PIA it will be to fix).

I believe it is the control valve to canister tube, but can't find info on it, so any insight is much appreciated

Kinda looks like this one.

Crawl under with a flashlight. There should be a tag on it somewhere with a part# printed on it. If you find the part number, it'll make things easier.

While under there, make a mental note of the shape of the hose, to compare to pics.

It appears to be #1 in this diagram:

This looks like it

Edit: I deleted the first pic. Pretty sure it was the wrong part. The part# i had originally listed was #7 in the pic, but it looks like you need #1.

Thanks. Yeah that's what I thought too, just with the variation in how it looks on the diagram vs on the truck, wanted confirmation to make sure

Sweet right up the road.
I have to been to one meet and greet for people in this area and tries a few years back BUT showed no interest, it would be just as it said, a meet and greet, Ram owners in the local area just meeting for lunch or coffee and talking about Rams.

Those lines can some times be hard to locate, believe me I know. Even at a dealership the parts person will say no problem and when you go to pick it up it is not the right one. If push comes to shove you can slather some JB weld on it, just wait the required time for the JB weld to set and cure and you SHOULD be fine. Not saying this is a permanent fix but it surely will buy you enough time to possibly find the line you need.

For an update, thank you @Ken226, that was the correct part number. Was able to get under the truck and painstakingly remove the old and get the new one there and took away the EVAP leaks!

Thank you all for the help!
