I noticed this morning from the stains on my driveway that my truck is leaking something.
I'm pretty confident that it's antifreeze as it's a pink fluid.
It looks to me like it's something to do with the transmission cooler lines.
I just went under the truck to try to find where it's coming from and there is one drip that I can find. It doesn't seem to leak when the truck isn't running.
I don't know that this part is called so I'm looking for help to identify it so I know what I need to buy to fix this.
Also, pretty much the entire transmission pan appears to be covered in oil of some sort. I haven't got my truck oil sprayed in 2 or 3 years so I don't think it's that, but I could be wrong. I'm guessing it's transmission fluid but it appears to be brown and I'm not sure if the new transmission fluids are brown now, but I'm pretty sure in my 91 Camaro that it was red.
I was planning on changing the transmission fluid and filter/pan in the spring, but I may be doing that now since I'm going to be under the truck trying to fix the leak.

I uploaded a video of the dripping to YouTube and put the link below.

The picture with the arrow shows where the dripping is happening and you can see there appears to pink pink in the general area of whatever this part is

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank yoy

It looks to me that the heat exchanger on the side of your trans is leaking coolant. I'm assuming this is an 8HP70 behind a 5.7 HEMI in a RAM 1500 4x4. Am I correct? If not, what year and model is this truck?

Your information says you have a 2014 with the V6 but you posted this in the 3rd gen section. Adding information about your truck when you make a thread with questions helps people to help you. Even better, add that information to your signature and you won't have to state it every time because it will show up in every post you make.

I don’t believe You will be buying anything to fix this. I believe you should drive it or have it towed to the dealer or automotive shop.

As Mike stated I have a 2014 ram 1500 with the V6.

I watched a few videos and it sounds like I need to replace the transmission heater tubes. From what I watched the o rings are often a common source of leaks from this area.

Sorry, I was struggling to stay awake when I posted my message earlier and posted in the 3rd gen section by mistake and I did intend to share that I have the V6. I did add it to my signature, so hopefully it shows up now.

My brother just told me that one of his clients owns an auto shop so I may just bring it to him, I don't have a lot of free time to deal with this right now and if he's going to charge me a reasonable rate I don't mind paying for the services

No worries Carlo, thanks for updating the thread. I've moved it to the 4th gen section.

Quit driving it,and have it towed,if the TMU or transfer tubes are leaking,it could put anti-freeze into the transmission, and if it does, you'll be buying a transmission alot sooner then you planned.
If you get lucky and it's just the O-rings on the transfer tubes, there are updated versions.
Honestly i don't think it's an issue with the transfer tubes as much as you might have a leaking TMU,or a leaking hose on top of it,that feeds it engine coolant. The transfer tubes only handle transmission fluid, they don't handle any coolant.
Post #263 and 264 in this thread, have pics of the heat exchanger and the updated transfer tubes.

Just to update everyone, I brought my truck in and they replaced the transmission heater and the clamps on the hoses that attach to it, I guess one of the clamps fell apart as soon as they touched it. And my oil cooler was also leaking.
