Marathon runners usually have a sticker that says 26.2 (miles in a marathon)on their Subaru or 13.1 for a half marathon. The guy above is clearly not a runner so the 0.0 is pretty funny. I also get my exercise from other means. Usually 12 to 16oz curls. (Beers)
I don't know if I have ever seen one of those or maybe didn't realize what it meant. I'd be inclined to punch someone if I saw that though.
Right up there with the Prius here I see running around with a vanity plate that says "54MPG" or something like that.
FYI,
a marathon or 1/2 marathon is no joke
there is some serious prep and training to do those
its not a walk in a park
and no you wont be able to do it - tomorrow - you really need to train for one
Awesome sticker. I've seen them a couple times and get a laugh every time I see one. Actually one of the funniest I have seen was a good friend of mines. His wife has a 13.1 and a 26.2 magnet on her car but parked right next her car is his truck with the 0.0 one. I laugh every time I see it.I am not big on stickers but i thought this was amusing enough since their are a lot of marathon runners in my city.
I agree. The people that run those races I commend every time I see them. I have a couple friends that run the Pittsburgh Marathon every year. I tell them they are crazy but on the other hand it kinda is on my bucket list to try. When I was in peak condition, many many moons ago, I was training for a 5 mile race. In order to sprint 5 miles I worked up my distance over about 7 months and when I peaked I was doing just around 10 miles a day. I went to 13.1 once just to say I did it, and I have clue how the hell anyone would ever do double that. I ran a 5:40 mile, completed the 5 mile race in 34:50, and was in nowhere near good enough shape to do 26.2. Its mind boggling.

Why would you be inclined to punch someone for being proud of an accomplishment like running a marathon? I'd be more inclined to punch someone in a lifted truck rollin coal to conpensate for their micro ***** than someone who's committed to being fit rather than an average fat **** american.
