The wait is almost over

Hi all. Ordered a new Longhorn on August 4th. Just got a message today showing it has been shipped 11/21. Just checked over the window sticker bad don’t see anything missing. Now just need some time while it is in shipping.
Did see where the current sticker price is $1540 higher though.

What added parts did you order?
fender flares, bedliner, nerf bars, hitch receiver, etc.

They are installed by a Outside Vendor, which is done as part of the Shipping time

Now we are looking at another possible Railroad strike, in the Freight system,
chances are the federal Gov't will force them to work

Latest update is it’s at the Taylor yard waiting on truck delivery to dealership.

When I was thinking about placing an order for a 2022 model year truck earlier this year. I had built in online and the sticker price on the build was almost $10K more than the 22 I ended up finding on the lot. So in matter of 10 months or so, they had jacked up the price on an identical truck that much.

The price of my ‘22 went up just a little over $1500 from the August 5th order till it was built.

It sounds like my truck is actually at the Twin Oaks (not Taylor) lot just waiting on trucking to the dealer. That’s about 85 miles away.

Hey, just can’t figure out why I don’t have my truck yet. It was built back inn the middle of November and shipped to Taylor yard. That’s where it is still sitting.
It has been assigned to a trucking company weeks ago. But I am still waiting.

Sweet Truck! Did ya ever think there would be a day when a well equipped 1500 would be 80k? In 16' when I got my 2500 for 50k I thought that was just outrageous. Now my 3500 has a 84k tag on it. Worse than that, I can't even go drive it now that they have a stop sale on because of the ZA3 recall. I just have visiting rights now only!

When I ordered mine my sticker was a little higher vs the order sheet from dealer, they honored the price when ordered. Maybe you will luck out in that way.

Same. Price went up about $2k between order and delivery. I had it in writing before placing my deposit that that the ordered price would be honored, and it was. No hassle at all working with Granger. If a dealer hits you with it, they are purely profiteering.
