That's pretty cool. I think if I was to have a yellow truck, I'd have to do a mad lift on it. Just so I could get tags that say TONKA.

Nice, see in your sig you list a 6.1 cam. Two things 1) would you like to be added to the cam info section and 2) did yall install it straight up or advance it some?

1) yes, 2) I didn't advance it, I am actually looking into a Crazy Jay, Looking for more low end torque.

Sounds good I will add ya in a sec. Could go with a Crazy Spartan also or even a Spartan. My fist cam was a 6.1 reground to a Sratan spec with a wide LSA, the new cam is a Crazy Spartan on a tight LSA of 112. Are you wanting to stay with SC tuner or go into a dialed in tune?

Edit: have you added to the cam listing

I looked into the Crazy Spartan, but I am still using stock heads/TC. How do I access the listing?

As far as the SC, I loke the trans tune option, I know that it can be stacked, but I earn an enlisted wage, can only get one thing at a time, so I surf until I find a deal worth jumping on.

I added you to it. Its a stickie at the top of 3rd gen engine and performane and its locked out, only to view for info. I ran the crazy spartan on stock heads and stock mans till the motor let loose. The new one has PWR heads and tossed in long tubes while I was at it. Also still running a stock verter, I know a 2600-2800 would be better but waiting till I need a trans swap for that.

Thanx for the add man. How was the difference coming from a 6.1 to a Crazy Spartan?

More trq far as it being a sharp pick up, the 6.1 regrind was more topend it felt like. No new actual track times yet on the new motor. Old motor (R.I.P holes in the block lol) with the crazy spartan 112 LSA on stock mans, stock heads (spring and pushrods upgraded), stock verter, SCT tuner being a 4x4 was 15 flat... slow I know but was what it was. New setup is a 5.7 block and rotating asm out of a 300c, same crazy spartan on a 112 lsa (stock LSA for that cam is 114 I believe) PWR heads, Pacesetter long tubes, pacesetter Y, stock verter, dyno tuned DSP. I have ran a 1/4 on the AI guage I have and ran a 14.1 according to it. All that being said I did 90% of my racing last year in the sand where 4lo is all the truck sees, 6 sec in 300 feet in sand/clay mix last races till it let go, this year shooting for mid 5s if I can get tires. You running SC is the best thing for you because you can tune out torque management, my TCM will kick in on some runs and kill my time where as other times it acts like its off. If I could kick out torque management I would be high 13s in the 1/4.

Looks Real Good. PM Replied.

Although some will disagree, the Comp 268 does work very well too if you want the High Reving Pulls and I do know 2 Guys that are using it in Heavier QC's albeit it is more popular in the HotRodding SCSB's. Just make sure your Tranny is up too the Task and stay Outta 2nd Prime unless you got $700 Bucks for the HD Clutches.
