A you tube video from car review hub titled "they finally listened fixed the hemi issues" claims for 2026 hemi, Ram produced stronger redesigned exhaust manifolds with stronger bolts, updated oiling to eliminate hemi tick. I'm just reporting what they said, but have not heard this from any other source including tk's garage who seems to have all of the updated info. Does anyone have any knowledge on this?

Hemi tick is caused by the lifters.

Doubt it. Possible they may be using different bolts but total top of motor redesign in VVT area to improve oiling, hmmmmmmm, guess anything possible. They just regurgitated the Hemi from 2024 with the E Torque and slammed them back in to satisfy public outcry in my very humble opinion.

It would be nice if they really did redesign the top of the motor ref oiling, and junk the 48V/E torque junkola and go back to straight VVT but alas not wat has been put into the 26's, but would sure be nice for the future.

All above my opinion only.

I’m doubtful too but hope springs eternal. Of course with that 10/100 warranty the budget guys may have finally said, maybe this stuff needs to get fixed before it eats us out of house and home on warranty claims.

I have very little (actually zero) faith in any social media/youtube based information any more. It's all about shocking headlines to get clicks, doesn't matter if it is actually factual or not. Take it with a grain of salt.....

Il never own a ram with Etorque even with them bringing back the 5.7 to qtorque is expensive to replace.... Has no one come up with a way to swap it back to normal yet/delete it?
All of the electronics with the MGU, and batteries, wiring,, TIPM algorithms with ECU/ and or BCM all intertwined together. Somebody stupid smart on wiring and electronics would have to do. My thought would be to do you would have to rip out and replace wiring and routings, possibly ECU/and or BCM. Heck of a job. Somebody a lot smarter than the average bear.

Definitely 250% smarter than dis dumb Boird.

Unfortunately, it seems that the backlog and long wait for parts for replacement, warranty or otherwise, is far from limited to the MGU and 48 volt battery. Too many people are writing in here complaining of waiting multiple weeks and months while awaiting repair parts other than the MGU and battery. Part of that is due to the fact that it seems that almost nothing can be repaired anymore, just replaced. Which puts the customer with a warranty failure in competition with the production line (just-in-time) and for first dibs on a part and the customer is going to lose that one usually when faced with interrupting the production line.
