Thinking of going to a 17inch wheel, have a question

Hate to be the guy whose asks wheel and tire questions but I searched and couldn't find a definite answer. Any help is appreciated.

I always like the rebel look with the 17 inch wheels, currently have a 2017 sport with 20 inch wheels. There's a set of fuel wheels locally for a good price. Just wanted to make sure they'll fit.

They are 17x9 with 1mm offset. All of the websites say they will fit. I was looking to run the stock rebel sized tire on it, a 285/70. Would that work without issue?

I know the wheel will fit the truck and the tire on the wheel. Just don't ant rubbing issues.

Your going to a tire that is 1/4" smaller, and about 1/2" wider. Should be fine

Thank you. I want to run Falken wildpeaks and it looked like that size tire would fit the 9 inch wheel and has the overall diameter i would need. what size do you recommend?thanks again.

Good tire choices, that's what I'm running on my stock 20s. But I'm the same as you, I want to go to a 17 also, and plan to run the 285/70.

Thanks again. I'm also running the at3s on my stock 20s, I like them alot. If the deal goes through I'll let you know how truck feels on the 17s with the wildpeaks.

It will fit no problem but be aware that the tires will be out about 3/4” further than they are now. The stock sport 20’s are a 20x9 with +19.05mm offset and you are going to one with +1mm offset

Thank you, that I did figure out. I think it'll be just enough to look aggressive but not need fender flares.
