I have purchased their systems before and have ahad good luck but I wanted to get everyones opinion on the dual 3" pipes. I dont want to lose power because of the diameter because the truck is fairly stock with just a couple of bolt ons but future plans are heads and a cam. Plus price fits my budget.

I was also looking a the dynomax setup. tailpipes are 2.5".

Any input is appreciated....Thanks!

What is the current situation with your exhaust? Are you running stock manifolds, cats and y pipe?

Yes,

I will be purchasing pacesetter LT's and their matching Y in the next couple of months. No need for cats here so they can go. I currently have a full boar muffler with a turndown and its starting to fall apart. :)

The choke point is the muffler.
Dual 3" tail pipes will make it a touch louder, and more prone to drone.

I also think it'll look a bit better.

I'd probably stick with the 2.5 instead of the dual 3in. Or a 3in SI/So muffler. I don't like cat backs though they are just too much of a waste of money imo.

If it helps you any im running bv heads and a cam on longtubes, ory to just a single chamber dumped. The 3" single moves enough for that app so running a dual would be for maybe another 3-5 peak hp if that. Ryan speaks the truth on whats worth spending the money on.

Also running longtubes w/ a si/so 3" dumped with no cats, an no complaints here. Love how the truck smells now when it sits in idle lol

Thanks for the responses. The muffler is 3" in and out right now and the drone is horrible. Plus everything vibrates like hell in the cab and its just becoming a PITA. I am hoping with the LTS and ORY hooked up to a free flowing system will work well. Not looking for any speed records, just a good potent street truck if I ever get it done. :)

Thanks
