Throttle Response

Hi Everyone,
I have a 2020 Ram 4x4 with the 5.7l hemi motor. Anytime I go over a large bump going either down hill or uphill my throttle stops responding for several seconds. This happens when exiting my office parking lot which is at a steep angle going onto a highway and it is very dangerous not being able to accelerate with oncoming traffic. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Fortunately you can reproduce the symptoms on demand. Is that correct?

What you need is a good tech with a professional grade scanner that can chart and record live data. He can do a ride along and collect data on what is happening in the associated subsystems, like the throttle pedal circuit and throttle controls, positioning sensors, etc. As the problem happens.

Otherwise you’re just guessing and buying parts. It could be just a chafed wire or loose connector.
