I was going to go with the Thuren 3”/1” lift option on my 6.4 2500 but they are out of stock of the fox shocks for their 3 inch kit. I was wondering if the Zone 4” lift upgraded with fox shocks would be a good alternative to go with. Here’s a link to the kit

After market suspension manufacturers tune their shocks to their own spring rates, I don`t think a shock tuned by another mfg would be optimal .. Thuren has other options tuned for their kits, ie: King or their overland .
I would wait for the Fox shocks that you want or go with one of the other Thuren tuned options!

Btw, this would apply to other mfgs as well!

the Zone kit has the option to get fox shocks with it. So I was guessing they would be tuned for the zone springs?

A few phone calls or emails to the companies you have in mind will answer all of you questions...
If you are after better off-road performance Thuren or Carli are the go-to kits on the Rams.

I personally went with Thuren as they seemed to be the softer spring/shock combo which best suites my slower speed mtn trail requirements, with the added bonus of a better price point!
Carli is a little more desert/firmer ride biased based on the research I`ve done although I don`t have personal "seat of the pants" confirmation on this!

I’d wait or go with the overland shocks before mixing Thuren with zone. The White body shocks are actually pretty amazing for the price and I beat mine hard.

I wasn’t planning on mixing Thuren with Zone

How do the overland shocks compare to the stock yellow/blue bilstein shocks. I don’t do any off-roading and only occasional towing for work

Call or Email Thuren and Chris will answer your question. Thuren is worth the wait if you want the Fox shocks. Or just get the overland or king shocks.

I just ordered a set of 2” coils and the front Fox shocks directly from Thuren. They literally came back in stock today. The rear Fox shocks for stock springs are out but I can live with the stock rear.

Makes you feel any better “probably not” I’m almost 5 months now waiting for my king 3.0 shocks from Thuren..... they are at the mercy of Kings time table. From what they told me the fox shocks are kind of a off the shelf deal so I’m sure they will be available soon.
