2012 Ram 1500 SLT 4.7l with 177000 MI sluggish off start sputtering a little bit until it picks up speed then drives fine, last tune up 96,000 changed all 16 plugs per maintenance schedule. At what point do you do the next tune up after the maintenance schedule mileage is exceeded? Definitely feels like a spark problem, I'm going to pull one of the plugs tomorrow and see how gummed up they are. Anything else it could be???

Put iridium plugs back in it. May require 15 plus coils, but we'll worth the effort

Doesn't the 4.7 require a different plug change interval for 1/2 of the plugs? Could be coil packs as well. With spring and all of the associated moisture could be affecting your spark path? I would check everything and maybe reset all of the boots. Pull a couple of the plugs and spot check them as well.

Yes you are correct I believe it was the upper set of plugs that were changed around 65,000 miles. And what you have suggested is exactly what I'm going to do, I'm going to check a couple of the plugs and check all the wiring and coil packs. And I live in Maine so you are also correct about the moisture and spring it's been raining almost every day here the last couple of weeks...
