I have a 2019 Longhorn 3500 dually. Installed new rear tires. Shortly thereafter, the right side, outside tire's monitoring system stopped working. Actually, it had an intermittent stop/stop working problem, which eventually moved to non-working.
The dash tells me to service the monitoring system, but I'd like to know how the individual wheel monitor's work. Do they have a battery in them that sends the signal to the dash? Does one need to periodically replace the wheel monitors?
