I have a 2018 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 3.6 engine. I have only had the truck for three months and was amazed at my gas mileage. I was getting consistently 24+ mpg on trips of 75 kilometers or more. My concern was that my tire pressure sensors had the pressures of all four tires all over the board. The odd time three tires would finally match up in pressure however a fourth would be off by as much as 10 psi. I took it to the dealer who told me my tires were over inflated. I apparently was at 50PSI however the door sticker says my tires should be at 40PSI. The tires came that way from Chrysler. I still cannot get my tire pressure to match up. I realize weather, how long I have been traveling etc will impact my results. Now my pressures might be 37 on one tire 41 on two and maybe 35 on the other tire. My wife's car the tire pressure seems to always be bang on. The other thing I noticed is that after the tech dropped my tire pressure to around 40 psi that my gas mileage dropped and now I seem to be getting around 20 mpg.

Am I being to picky about the tire pressure?

thank-you

Mine, never match up 100% on my TPMS screen.... I'll have 3 @ 45 and 1 @ 43, then 2 @ 45 and 2 @46..... I use it more to keep track to see if any 1 tire loses a lot of air, say down to 35. I you my tire gauge once a week to check them physically.
