Mine just came with a set of 285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer STT's

They're a pretty agressive tire, not sure about them yet; have a lot of life on them so its not economical for me to go get a new set.

If it were up to me i'd have BFG All Terrains on it.

I have Cooper Discoverer HT's plus 285/50-20, got a great price at a local tire shop $550 out the door. Another friend who has a tire shop told me to jump on them as he couldn't even buy them himself for that price. Shopping around pays.

Nice feed back guys and gals. Keep 'em coming. This helps out scores of undecided people on the forum. I voted bargain basement ,cuz they came with the truck. Michelin brand, They are great for high speed and cornering. But they blow in the snow. I haven't even thought of off road yet. I'm leaning towards dura tracs.

Thanks Dan. I appreciate the help.

LT 305-55-20 Zeons.... I think im gonna get something a bit different this summer.. I like the traction they provide for wet and dry conditions but not in the slushy muddy conditions... Im not saying they aint good, just that I wanna try something else.. I'm looking at those federals RH got.. Way cheaper too.

Bill I can vouch for the Duratracs. Mine are a 10 ply tire I believe. They wear really really well!! I have even burned off two of them and still they have some life left. I have had them off road, in mud, snow, and just drove almost 4k miles on them. So they are a good mt tire that isn't too loud on the highway and still are agressive enough to have grip.

Talked to one dealer,(who is clearly in it for the money). And she hated Federal, said it wouldn't give ya 20,000 miles. But I think that was envy talking, seeing as she couldn't touch that price. :flipthebird:I'm thinking. Rubber is rubber when you get right down to it. I think they are asian. Taiwan or korean. They have the thread pattern I like and are under 300.00 for 35's whats not too love? C'mon RH. We need a status update on the Federals!! Join the pollsters!! lol..:baby:
