2022 big horn 1500 e torque v6. 53k miles. Coming off a lease.. only issue so far was the torque battery that went bad and was replaced at30k miles. Thoughts on buying it out from the lease rather than re leasing another truck and dealing with over mileage again. I’m not worried per se about the financials of the truck but long term how will this truck hold up say 150k miles or more?

There's no way anyone here can know if it will hold up for another 150k miles. IMHO the biggest factors are maintenance history and how the truck was used. If you kept up with scheduled maintenance and didn't abuse the truck in the first 53k miles, you have given it the best chance to last another 150k miles and more.

Personally, i tend to trust fleet owners to do a better job at keeping up with maintenance than Joe Schmo

I would agree with you if buying a used truck. But in this case, unless I’m reading it wrong, the OP is debating whether or not to buy out the lease on a truck he leased. If that’s the case he will have intimate knowledge of the maintenance history of this particular truck.
