I've had the opposite experience from Jimmyfjk. Had a 2005 1500 5.7 for thirteen years 180,000 miles, never put any money into engine repairs. some minor suspension repairs, but well over 100,000when those issues appeared. Then a 2018 1500 5.7 with 93,000. My wife currently drives. Only issue was a recent coolant leak. I'm currently driving a 2023 2500 6.4 hemi with 30,000. No problems and I love my truck. Also a 2011 Challenger R/T 5.7 hemi, no engine problems over 7 yrs, 100,000 miles. Your gonna find good and bad in every make of vehicles.

2500 6.4L Hemi 4.10's 'Off-Road'
I have a 2018 2500 with the 6.4 6spd and 4.10's and have no complaints. I have towed a 9000lb boat and a 9300lb bumper pull TT with no complaints or issues. My son also had an identical truck and towed his 8100lb TT all over the country. 9500 miles towing it in 2 years and put 90,000 miles on the truck in that time and he never had any issues either. Mine only has 38,000 miles on it now but the only issues I have had was the touchscreen was replaced under warranty and my drag link was replaced under recall.
