This is a weird topic but I recently had to relocate my toll booth device from behind my mirror. Before finding this forum and starting some mods I had a very basic rearview mirror which gave me plenty of room to attach the device out of sight behind it on the windshield.

However, now that I added a mirror with a microphone the large plastic base now occupies that space.

Where do y'all stick your E-Z Passes (or other variants)?

This is where I have mine. First I laid an OEM Mopar etched window sticker and then put the toll tag behind it. So you see the Mopar M and not the T for the pass. Best solution I had. It's been there almost 3 years and I don't even notice it anymore but I like knowing the Mopar shows I guess lol.3777962ebfad57628e05b2561d2211af.jpg

Is it possible to just put it under the large plastic base? I've hidden stuff in there before.

You'd think companies would build a spot into the interior design that can or cannot be used for toll passes. That would allow it to be used and not take away from the aesthetics of the vehicle.

Florida's Sunpass has the option of the plastic transponder or the "window sticker" transponder. I went with the movable transponder in both of our vehicles so that I could move them as needed. When my daughter and g'kids come down for a visit, I can pop the one out of wifey's minivan and put it in the kid's minivan. Or move the one from my truck to the Mercedes depending on what I'm driving. Just a whole lot more versatile. As far as mounting them, I just stick them where they are not in my line of sight. Behind the mirror, passenger side, even lower edge down by the dash. So long as it has clear view up to the road sensors, doesn't matter.

FasTrak give you as many stickers as you need. I even have extras. Put one on each of my vehicles, even though I mainly use it with my Ram. No extra cost, just need to list all the plate numbers with them.

My truck has that lower box below the mirror too, but it has an auto high beam sensor in it. I put my sticker in the center and I guess it blocked that sensor or caused interference because it kept throwing a code. I don’t even use that feature on my truck but I guess it’s still active. I put a new sticker on upper pass side and it works fine now.
