Looking for opinions:
1) I don't haul large items much
2) Don't want anything cheap or flimsy
3) Prefer a hard top, but too expensive!
4) If I need to haul something, a cover that can be easily removed
5) Something with a great fit and finish, prevent leaks

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I've never had a tonneau cover before

Access Original is my choice. Excellent quality and fit. Not a real fan of the low pro models, they dont seem to stay as tight as the original.

I don't know if you can get a good quality one piece hard cover that is easy to remove. There are some great hard folding covers out there. I use a Bak VP folding cover.

Extang Solid Fold has been good for 3 months now. Take that for what it's worth. It meets your criteria as was mine. Easily removable, secure, hard cover, can fold back and drive with load. $700+ though

I have a tonno pro tri fold. I really like it it's a soft tri fold. Easy use its quiet no flappy sound going down the highway and stays 99% water tight. Exteemly hard rain and I get a few beads that roll around back there. It takes about 20min to get it on the first time, to open and close it takes seconds and is 1 handed operation if need be. There is clips that hold it open so you can roll with it 66% open. After install takes 3 min to take it off and 5 to put it back on. The fit is great except across the tail gate (which is were I think water gets in) but it's hard to make a good fitting soft cover with the design of out tail gates. Over all for the $300 I spent I'm very happy.

Edit: here's a pic not great pic across the tail gate but you can tell how it doesn't for perfect.

Having something that can be removed or at least something that can retract and still be able to haul is very nice to have. I prefer the fold over the roll up, seems more sturdy and looks better in my opinion

I have on order a Leer 700 with keyless entry. Still about 3 weeks out. Hope it's nice as it wasn't cheap.

Mine is an Undercover Flex tri fold hard shell. It opens to expose the full bed and it cost me $860.00 canadian plus tax. It would be cheaper in the states

The Peragon folds up and is below the bed rail so doesnt block window, and takes up less than 6" off the bulkhead so you can still haul anything you want. Wont be disappointed with it.

DiamondBack Cover. Spendy and the HD version will hold an ATV. What's your budget? They hinge in the center and fold back flat and 4 clamps hold them down if you need to remove it.
