So, I am now on the fourth radio in a 2019 Ram 1500. I sent a letter to Chrysler and spoke with Steve Stander from Top Care, who assured me that this was not a refurbished radio but a new one. When trying to get things worked out with Sirius radio, I find out the radio ID for this radio comes up as being in a 2018 Ram, so it sin't new but refurbished. Is it standard operating procedure for Chrysler to just lie to people?

I don't know if it is standard...but I had a radio replaced under warranty in my old 2004 Ram. I specified that I did not want a refurbished radio and they assured me that it would be new. It wasn't.

The numbers were faded and it had fine scratches on the screen. My original was perfect looking. When I confronted them they just said I couldn't expect a brand new radio since my truck wasn't new anymore.o_O
